About Us

We are Justin & Sarah Messenger! I am so excited to finally have started a blog. I'm excited to share our successes, adventures, and special moments. I am especially excited to show our progress as amateur photographers. We just got a the NIKON 5100 DSLR camera from Perfect Lighting Photography shop in Idaho Falls. We are SO excited! 

A little bit of History about us by Sarah:

We met right after I graduated high school in July 2006 at a singles ward family home evening. Little did I know, Justin had seen me at church the day before and had rushed over after he got off work to that FHE activity just to see if I was there. We’ve been married for four years now. Our anniversary is on flag day! We don’t have kids...yet... but we have an Alaskan Malamute Puppy named Ranger. 

Justin & I love to do most all of the same things: and the things we don’t like to do together, we usually find a way to compromise so it works for both of us. While Justin fly fishes, I have my nose in a good book. We are both avid snow skiers, water-skiers, campers, hikers, rock climbers, Mt. bikers, and road bicyclers (thats the kind with out the engine!)... you name it, we probably like it or would love to try it. Sometimes we try to do so much, we spread ourselves too thin & end up saying "Lets hurry and go to bed so we can hurry and sleep so we can hurry and get up to hurry and go have fun again!" 

We both graduated on the same day last May from Idaho State University in Pocatello. Justin received his Doctorate of Pharmacy and now works as a pharmacist at Walgreens (the one over by Winco.)

I graduated with my Bachelors in nursing & now work as a Registered Nurse at Bingham memorial hospital in Blackfoot.  It was a weird feeling not to have to start school again this past semester! But...we got over it pretty quick!

Both Justin & I grew up here in Idaho Falls out in Coltman...We actually grew up only 5 miles apart but since we are 5 years apart (he robbed the cradle a little bit) we never met during high school. We both graduated from BONNEVILLE!

We have had a fun summer starting our jobs and fitting in as much adventure as possible. We just hiked to the lower & upper palisades lakes last Saturday. We will be going to HAWAII at the beginning of October. Life is GOOD!
